The TecnoFerrari Multi-Deep Automated Warehouse Shuttle-Based system is designed for the automated management of high-density storage through the combined use of AGV/LGV vehicles and shuttle carts dedicated to the internal handling of pallets within racking channels.
The solution maximizes storage capacity by almost completely eliminating operating aisles and using the full depth of the warehouse structures. The system represents one of the most advanced configurations for the automated management of large product volumes for a single SKU, ensuring high operational efficiency, maximum handling safety, and optimization of the available space.
The Multi-Deep Automated Warehouse Shuttle Based is used in industrial and logistics environments characterized by a high need for pallet accumulation, such as high-density logistics centers, cold storage facilities, the ceramics and paper industries, Food & Beverage, and mass-production operations.
The system uses AGV/LGV automatic vehicles that transport and position the shuttle carts at the entrance to the storage channels. The shuttle-based operates autonomously within the racking, carrying out pallet storage and retrieval missions even at significant depths exceeding 30 positions.
This configuration significantly reduces the travel times of automatic vehicles, optimizing operating cycles and increasing the warehouse’s overall productivity.
